Poem
“Everybody duck, everybody run, and everybody hide. Quickly now. Hurry. IT is happening now. All run run run” In haste the message spoke. Radiating booming voice from the tissue box placed in the middle of the living room floor. All moved. All heard. All listened. And all obeyed. The crystal clear advice from the tissues themselves but when they came from a box they were to be revered. And in fact made a lot of prophetic sense. Better than listening to the rolled tissue in the bathroom. So used to their fate they were that they had even given up on telling the time nowadays, let alone the date. And so when all had hidden the truth could be tasted in the acrid fumes which were pouring out from the corners. It was a pure moving mass. And when it had become solid in the room it was truly a sight to behold and one that the tissue box had already seen in mind. In mind is often in kind and kind is not always kind so never pull a crocus bud on a Saturday afternoon. Well the sight moved. Around the room. Investigating intelligently inspecting. And sniffing the air. Occasional rustles came from under the sofa and the mantle-piece held the mice people and this occasionally let out a belch and a snore. For they were all eeked out by cheese and pickle juice. When the solid mass stopped it let out a peculiar noise. Like a wild mixture of pistol, piston, and sea gull. Interesting that thought the tissue box. The carpet shuddered as the large webbed feet paced about the room. The final solid mass to arrive. And now pace it did and peck it did and then stopped for eighty seven games of cards with the tissue box as it had become friends with it. And friends free faked forked fishtails. And who could argue that a pillar concoction is never symmetrical nor natural in origin? And so it was that day. All were still hidden. As they were told. And they had obeyed. And the tissue box and pelican played for hours and told stories of the lost inhabitants. And the time when the peli had lived by a sea. Now in dust and air particles he could fly anywhere then materialise. The tissues were so fascinated by this tale that they jumped out of the box and made a lovely collage in the room. Creative collage calming creators can canter creations creating creased caressed circumferences cleverly corroding cantankerous clown clams. And so as the sun arrived in the room apex it was time for the clapping gherkins to enter the room dressed in their party clothes for a rock n roll discotheque is best attended by a whirling green twisting and shaking mass. Whirl whirl whirl clap clap clap then! WOW Beaver elementals in a spoonful of jam. Beaker dance with twelve sun dialling chimps. And that is it at 456 twitchy horse tails swishing. Z Hierarchical Z At 56 peahens calling 17 otters to a country fayre. ()
