Poem
the house at the end of the street is the coolest thing i've ever seen creepy and bizarre, it's empty and dark i'm too afraid to see all of its parts i wanna go inside but it doesn't look welcome so i'm gonna leave it to the imagination the house at the end of the street its lights keep turning on, staring at me maybe i'm just going crazy or maybe the resident it's asking for is me it feels too real for me to question myself i'll stand in the street and pay no mind to anything else the house at the end of the street its attic light flickered and then went to sleep but i thought it was begging for me this calls for investigation, my friends are screaming for me but i stand there thinking about the promise i'd made to myself i'll stand in the street and pay no mind to anything else the house at the end of the street stopped shining when i needed a warning 'cause the man in the car behind me stopped and asked me for my name and i told him something fake, my little creation sometimes you gotta leave it to the imagination he took me for a ride to a place in the sky called cloud nine thought i was falling 'til i saw what was mine a creepy house with a shining attic light it was all a dream, the house in the sky it was just a house in the sky the house and the car, they are both so dark the neighbors are much brighter so i'm gonna take my lighter and set this f*cker on fire i've always kept my secrets in the night so i can hide this one, right? i saw the man's body float up in the form of smoke while his ashes fell like snowflakes the car was much better-looking charred everything's much better-looking scarred and the fire crawled slowly towards the house along the clouds and beneath the sun its attic eye had went to sleep as it desired but the attic eye was shining, now, with fire well the house woke up, the house just talked maybe i'm losing my mind it told me that it loved its ghosts and it couldn't take the smoke it loved me all along, this little dream of mine i killed my home, up in cloud nine you'd think i'd sob, you'd think i'd cry well i just smiled 'cause it felt f*cking divine
