Creeping, sneaking I grab your coat,
Into the pocket, my hand goes,
To grab my salvation, my hero,
My blade and my band-aids to me they go,
Back to the rightful owner they're taken, 
Under a cloud of mystery, I waken, 
To my only life-line in a life so mistaken,
Holding the blade, down to the core I am shaking, 
Be still now your troubles are passing you by,
I know that you want to but don't you dare cry,
The blade will always take you so high, 
As the blood flows, feel free to let out a sigh,
It's nobody's business just what you do,
They don't know all the stuff you go through, 
They don't know your worst enemy is you, 
And your cutting is far between and few,
Only when you're in need of it most, 
Only when from your past, come the ghosts,
Only when your whole life feels like compost,
Only when strength you are longing to boast, 
So look at your scars, see how they stand out, 
When you are sad, do this, don't just pout,
Cause life without vices is just life without,
And when you're pissed off, you can't always shout,
You can carry it with you anywhere, 
You can use it here, you can use it there,
Everyone knows that life is unfair, 
So just let this be, the answer to your prayer!
