Ins & Outs Magnetized by the Field

light air music
ejected from from the module
into the surrounding beaks I mean peaks
re-entry minus parachute
flapping arms swimming motions
there is direction 
there is magnitude
kick stroke and glide
among the pecking crows
working at the edge of panic
gave the bastards the slip
a car wreck on legs
a bad selection of impressions
in the darkness and fog
because my attention span 
is more mosaic than photographic
and mosaics imply rearrangement
ah well two hands and two feet 
can wiggle only so much
step and gesture only so far
trying like a hummingbird 
on Uncle Death's shoulder
to weigh in for good
neither abandoned by grief 
nor orphaned by humor 
the destruction of info by info
& vice versa the other way around
amplifies time's heartless plot
for reasons as follows:
