Poem

When all the day is gone 
and I am hiding from the fun 
or simply floating on a dream that never was.
The weather stirs and breathes me in
The silent night of unexpected sight begins
The welcome feast of visions ticking, ticking,
Sinking in.
Everything is blank from 
whence I kept the very last of things.
The open ground of dreaming big 
is breaking every word I meant again
It doesn't end and though I think I need a rest
The reasons of the weathered beasts are wicked in 
Their thoughts of dread, the memory of the dead 
are swept up in my melting head, the wonder of 
the unicorns and mixing ponies with the happy gnomes
Are sweeping with the tomes of words so fast, 
so vast I wonder on, the dreams are wrong and 
move until they're done. I am pumped for tomorrows want.

It all depends on what you say
And all the other problems of the day
It amends the way I make my pieces mend
The dreams i have, I need to harness what they say
And that is when i love to play.
