I’ll love you when you leave me and then i’ll love you still,
For love will make me blossom then love will make me ill,
My heart will pound with fondness then it will surely break,
I will cherish all the memories, there will be no parting wake.
Two hearts will beat together then they will break apart,
You will take mine with you as you will always have my heart.
In bed so close together then becomes an empty space,
The soft touch of your lips will be the memories of your face.
The softly whispered “love you’s” that freeze us both in time,
Will turn to words of venom sending shivers down my spine.
The late night throes of passion so wild and so carefree,
Will end up being lonely when you walk away from me.
"hush now my sweet darling". let this moment of mine last,
For our future may be broken but we'll always have the past.
