Poem
He touched me last night And ignited my spark Lost in his kisses we danced in the dark The music played on Song after song Like nothing on earth could ever go wrong We spoke of the past and our futures ahead He tickled my spine and threw me on the bed Laughter in his eyes, I smiled The air was full of static, and I had never felt this way Together we drew dreams and promised lovely things The world around us just felt so quiet Stars outside were bright His hands began to wander.. It was nothing like a story in a book It was the making of a soulful song all in his look Just a touch in all the right places is all it took His seductive smile put me on a hook He spoke about his dreams I spoke about mine It all made sense Even my muscles stopped being tense Because in as much as I didn’t want the inevitable to happen He was too perfect for me He is too perfect for me Thank God it never took time for me to see He was the one meant for me I know right now, it’s with him I’m meant to be And then suddenly, I find myself just feeling so free ..so dizzy from his charm and the trance he has me in The sparks fly on my body as his hands move on my skin This is a race that he is meant to win Loudly, my heart just hammers inside My bare chest is covered in the tears he had cried Our hands join to symbolize our forever, Through all of time by him I’ll stand This night shall last beyond the now He is my fate that God has planned The night lives forever This night forever I will remember All year round from January to December In a league of people with beautiful moments I’ve just become a member I know his body and he knows mine Even without watches on our wrists we both knew it was time The lights were off but our bodies produced the light I knew where his lips were and he knew where to find mine Two halves now whole Two bodies one soul A part of each other we always shall be I live within him, he lives within me …and in the background, the music just plays on Each moment is our forever, Our love shall grow forever strong.
