BOSNIA NIGHTMARE.  Hillary From the West
There were girls and boys
hopeful and throwing her
flowers
as Hillary from the west
walked from the airplane
she had just
arrived in with the
peace plan her husband
had just signed.

Children threw her
their flowers
and Sojia, smiling
and alive in her eyes
with hope for the peace.
Bosnia was now at peace
in their hearts and
eyes and flowers were their gift
to Hillary from the west.

Later, they heard the news
and they knew
it was all just another lie
like the uncounted lies handed down
through the centuries.

They did not cry
when Hillary from the West
explained to the world
that instead of flowers,
instead of hope,
instead of dreams
for an end to the killing,

there were no flowers
there were no children
greeting her .

There were only bullets
and Hillary told of dodging these bullets
and running for cover
she nearly died.

And the children knew
the world would believe
the lies of this lady
and the truth
would not come out
until it was too late
to even believe the truth.

The lies that bring
all cotastrophe and upheavel.

The lies of of Hillary from the West
the world would believe.
