Political Poetry Obama: what bard, what griot, what poet wouldn't want to tell -the miracles of our times in tales. What courage, what evidence that man can endure; fulfilling the destiny for which he was bore. Stones were thrown and die were cast, but for which task---the heart doth ask...? He was conceived, I do believe to do away with bigotry. How now will history report - Americas formidable child, whose foes retort - For whom the bell has tolled. To no avail they give him hell, and because her womb pray-tell -was chosen- truth will prevail and the myths dispelled. Every-man that is born, is surly destined to perform / according to his purpose. Some may choose an altered path. The staff forebode the rod. Ignoring giant shadows hovering s of the gods. The names of shame, the wicked games, that trampled on his glory. The beaten path where others lead, head straight to purgatory. Obama rise and be wise take direction from the almighty. They say loose lips are sinking ships - run your ship very tightly. Do not be swain by dirty names, and run your ship aground. They'd rather see America fall down, than to see you lead successfully. Defame him not, you wicked lot; rather see his noble worth. We all must claim our rightful place -according to our birth. Be ye noble or humble you have a divine purpose on this earth. Take time to find yourself and not bash another s fame. - through media and news, you see them play/ the "blame Obama game." so we tell the mountains to move, instigators move, haters move, corporations of plunder - move, liars and signifiers move.! The first president of hue - favored by the people, crucified in media and news.... If we even knew, the lives of these scoundrels- i am certain we'd disapprove.... Every day he must be on alarm- praying to keep his family from harm. "president" ...you want the job...? Bet you wouldn't even take it. Who but a sincere man would sacrifice his life, to love" America the whore / "walk a mile in his shoes you scoffers then ... Please scoff no more. He has been elected and selected- scorned and disrespected- just because you want America to pause. But remember he came with a clause... "yes we can”! And he did... Now do it again... But only if you want to. Most wouldn't even run if what was done to him was done to them. He's been mistreated. Verbally abused, and mentally hung/ but still ... He runs. Ba-rock the rock part 2: after the debates Ba-rock looked as if he had been working, hustling... Sleeves rolled up... Ready to roll., president working- was a good look. Tough and tired of the kooky stuff. Unlike his counterpart who had been polished up, on a 20.00 dollar make over budget. And all dolled up. A ken doll he was -styling and profiling. The contender looked clueless but- maybe- he was waiting on Barbie. Barack needed to ask him ."man while are you all spruced_ and full of juice. I have been in the trenches; get in the game. You can’t win if your uniforms clean... What a pretender Romney is... Double minded, double tongue, a pompous pimp ... Wowing the crowd with his modern style. Talking loud and saying nothing. Just like 911 everybody was dirty except the king...back to you Ba-rock I know you were in a state of shock, you could of out- shined him, out- dressed him too, if you only knew. Well I thought you looked as you should- exhausted from saving our country from demons and hoods. You have withstood- the torture and withstood the pain. Verbally castrated and mentally hung, running our country has not been much fun. We need to put you in again... Run Obama run, none can stifle your time and space .... run Obama and win this race. This is your time and your rightful place. Run Ba-rock run, but only if you want to.
