Sometimes the sunshine needs to go so the rain can fall
Sometimes things need to fall apart in order to come together
You have to go through the worst days to appreciate the better
I wasn't supposed to make it this far but I overcame it all

I've had a lot of bad moments, but I've had good times too
The thing about love is you can't find it, Love finds you
As soon as the wound heals, put all the bad blood behind you
I'm no longer moving mountains for people, because people want to tell you which you should climb to

This girl didn't want me, because i wasn't popular
But now I'm in a better place, she wants to cuff me like an officer
She's sending me nudes like she's trying to become a Photographer 
I delete them all and i'm thankful for the chance I never got with her

I don't want a shallow minded girl who only wants me at certain times
I learnt at a young age a lot of girls  know how to work your mind
As I got older I realised not every girl is worth my time
I came from a dark place, so only a small few deserve my shine

Let's step away from love for a moment and talk about real life
Depression is the main reason I still fight
I refuse to be in a battle and not win
I'll either die or be victorious, but losing isn't an option

They kicked me while I was down, and I got up laughing
Just because I don't hold grudges, doesn't mean I've forgot your actions
They saw the damage was done and didn't expect me to repair
Until I popped up, and showed them I'm Still here

Parents didn't want me so they put me in foster care
They let me go without food as long as they had a Vodka there
I made it this far without the guidance of my parents
So now I'm careful with who I offer my love and caring
