There are days -- and -- days -- when she lags behind
Then - there are days and days - when she’s so hard to find
          Tempo increase                      
She needs to be found
To run far ahead
My poetic prowess lies not in my head
My Muse dwells in my shadow instead
Favors position where she leads - I'm led
Sometimes she’s fast - then she’s slow
Sometimes sensual - then demure
Sometimes she’s cold - Sometimes she’s hot
Sometimes she’s there - then she’s not
Reach for the ideas, reach for the pen
Reach for a rhyme word - start over again
There are days - when she’s so far ahead
Oh Lord give me wings not feet of lead
                             Beat Music 
                                           Violin -                 Ideas flow fast on these days
Minds so clear - not in a haze
Trips off the tongue, soars like a dove
Skirts round Lust, goes for the Love
Skies so blue, clouds so white
In velvet black the stars so bright
Go for the bees, reach for the sting
Sully a name - go out on a wing
Fly like a butterfly, chirp like a bird
Look for a metaphor - look for a word
My poetic prowess lies not in my head
My Muse dwells in my shadow instead
Go for a metre, go for the beat
Poetic justice is no mean feat
Do syllable counts check the grammar?
Go for the funny or romantic glamour

                                           Violin -       Let the ink flow, my shadow in sight
Skirt the darkness, go for the light
Ideas flow fast- swift on these days
Mind so clear- not in a haze
She’s running so fast
Now ten lengths ahead
Ideas come streaming,
She’s doing in my head
Time for a breather,
Need to slow down
Relief in the smiles
Wipe off the frown
My poetic prowess lies not in my head
My Muse dwells in my shadow instead
My confidence is high, my elation extreme
My shadow runs free- reigns supreme
Together we soar, together we dream…..

PHEW! .…That’s left me breathless
You dance on ahead - I’m having a rest

Synopsis :
When fancy takes her she’s into my head
She utters no words just pictures instead
She beams in ideas at the speed of light
So fast do they come I can hardly write
