Aidan The Knight Of The Word Several weeks has pass and gone But all I can see is Ei-rian in my mind Life in my world is harder to breathe on Had since her diminished light no longer shine The weight of the dead is heavy But I couldn’t just let go… I wouldn’t For it isn’t just the cause of love simply It’s a passing of a journey shared… forsaken Life with her I can only remember Because I can only remember given my this life A past engrave into my this life in weaver To only wonder how much longer can I survive? “And the doors open to reveal her in nude With her long hair barely covering for full exposure Of candles burning to glisten her wings of whiten silk And simply to witness, remains a purity in honest pleasure So mesmerising was it all as all can only be With her endless array of books piling ever high A feather she use to pen her words into memories Words written to express why dreams never will die” This was a memory of her I have remembered Perhaps the only memory to remain true and dear Years gone, times passed and moments withered To have lived within and be left with what remains to fear Gone have you, lived had I? Once more am I to find myself all alone Rather I be one be given glory to die Then live on without you to guide me home In certainty there is Alkaiya, the Mistress Of War There for a newfound love be wistfully made bond Limited to only memories for my this life to recall I feel… almost unfelt for a feeling in need to belong And different she can only be, like everyone else And like everyone, I proceed differently as to how Yet of love shown, known to my this life I held Where is to me yet… my one life I am to know now? And I finally slept… and I knew I’m sleeping With dreams made no more for the dreaming Of both worlds… I’m to walk in true awakening To see to an endless sorrow for me be receiving “And here I walk within the vastness of my dreams An endless road to be walking alone beyond any means In me burns a soul who shall not wander anymore From a thousand years before, comes a time now to recall Reborn into a modern world I am to live today As in me hides the soul who never did fade away He is the true Knight Of The Word from whence of yore He is Aidan… hence I am Aidan returning to endure And I inherited his strength and his abilities to survive Yet left as well, was his love for Ei-rian I had solemnly derive
