Poem
At my will, it began to glow a little with a startling tingle Daring a series of slashes, I feel to be more at ease as I mingle And into the rhythm, I forget away my troubles behind Channeling my very soul to be one with the sword in kind The Erl-gria I’m finally to speak with in my display The enigmatic voice only I’m to hear to understand its way And I felt powerful, a sense of power I never thought to find An unjustly might to call upon simply with normality to deny Yet, there belongs an otherness in me that speaks for itself A soul deeply troubled and sad… from realities beheld With tremendous power, comes an unquestionable loneliness An inevitable cause to promise any soul to be as lifeless And there she stood… never knowing what burdens me within Never knowing how much I love her shall come even a thousand dreams If there are words… it could not be structured to have it said If there are gestures… actions shall remain an eternity to await And further strengthening the pain, is but Ei-rian the Befallen Letting me go… discarding our moments along with her blessings engiven Along with vocals, she has action to speak a thousand words Something I never could do for my voice belongs to be heard I do wonder, how is she still calm given her tormented years When it comes to love, is ancient life as it is now to endear…? Forgetting a past to welcome a future dreadful enough to begin How is one to acknowledge to the God-given time to mean? My eternal gratitude, my eternal debt is never to be paid Given our years to vividly remember, the after years was made And I look to Alkaiya, searching for perhaps some answers Or rather some comfort to maintain closure to be well hidden Yet… the longer I held her eyes to my own I saw the dream to my future I was made known A dream for which I am haunted by its inconclusive nature A taunting prophecy I must partake to remake in my favour The life of Alkaiya to be laid waste by my hands alone And alone I shall be beyond the Heaori Chamber towards home I find it impossible to conceive such a moment destine in time Finding it even harder to comprehend before all comes to bind What reasons shall occur should I have to kill Alkaiya even? What sort of sick dream has had to infuse me to this distance! And I wanted to shout to the Heavens, “I Love Her” I wanted so much to let her know regardless of triumphing fear Of Heavens joke be played and Hell’s laughter be heard I felt my lost of compassion to once more be Knight of the Word
