Poem
Of Waters Upon Skin Tormented nights has become my only source to stay alive Nights passing without love… without dreams No more in reality may I find comfort to breathe to survive With without the curse, I’m only to feel deader within My asking to share the malediction has cost me And to learn of Alkaiya’s affection, hides a deeper anguish Can I be spared of conviction from a love never to be? Or must one await to have the endearment gradually tarnish? As I dared seek into my inner heart for quiet peace I desperately forced the image of Alkaiya out from my mind Conjuring every possible scenery for tranquility be unleashed To be better prepared, before The Ancients is to give my time From a month before, I remembered almost my every night How have I lived without sleep, I couldn’t begin to imagine? My exhausting eyes were deprive of life… an extinction to light If not beyond, how much of my petty life is for society to mean? What has become of life for which couldn’t be seen? Who exactly is me to myself I’m never to know Where is sleep learnt to bring about the lunatic dream? Which of Gods, to mortals or immortals is of the one to show? With a glass of Scotch Whiskey in my hand With my body laying upon a contoured chair to ease My mind battles in bewilderment to understand The many reasons for the one reason to have my mind please And as the hours drifted with its promising fade Did I remember who I am, or has the alcohol consume me? Wasn’t there to be many a nights I haven’t had my way? Yet tonight, tranquility appears to speak for itself to be… {Even the light of day seem a pale shade upon Sylvius’s land Bearing no comfort to ease any troubling soul to its bitter end I see myself seeking for a quieter pace upon the gentle green And as always, alongside me was my bloodied Sword of Sin How are we to move along above this seen ensnarement time? Are troubles simply unsolvable… to eventually be left behind? I should just find Alkaiya and continue our darken path ahead Rather to ignore, why not let all else be crystallised with fate! And as I searched for her through this small plain of serenity Everything became nothing else when found was her simply Her cloth of armour was lying beside the sands of the waterfall The placid gushing water has only beauty onto her flesh to pour Each movement she made to clean herself becomes breathtaking And given my culture when to witness was simply pain staking
