Poem
The Askance was already gone before the end of the candle-fill chamber And through the door I went… of whom might this Befallen I’ll meet?} “Your long awaited presence is finally to be seen And how I’ve yearn since those thousand nights if I’m to enter your dreams Yet here before me you stand and indeed well worth is my wait As destiny is only to reveal its time, never too early nor too late Forgive me, for too much lies little understanding for you Yet truth can only unfold, shall present the time be due As of now… Your concern for dreams, is a search for an enigma No end is the beginning, alike tunes of a magical aria It speaks nay of language, yet profound in ways of simplicity And striving to decipher, will only string more knotted complexity Each night, the veiled eyes will reveal the forbidden Uncovering a path beyond one’s blinded destiny till awaken Whichever the moment captured, belongs to you and you alone For no one can even come close to truly behold the secrets you own And dreams is to appear every once, shall come sleep to everyone Cursed either to be remembered or forgotten, must both come undone This gift of wisdom lies the past, present and future to be within your very power Not even I can interpret what burns beyond your darkest hour With words I’m oblige to say, what you see is what you are The answers is not of questions, whether too close, neither too far Do not be deceived and let all else be… For too soon in dueless time, dreams is only but a memory” I lay on my bed with my eyes still enclose Thinking of what she said, feeling totally calm Not a fulfillment but an understanding I enfold With the message she delivered was the fact I dearly want A tear fell from her eye when I unwantedly left Along with an undeniable sadness I had felt She seems so yearning, waiting with her every spiritual breath Perhaps some love, lost with unspoken centuries to be dealt I remember her beauty, her pearl blue eyes when she looks up Her wings of white fallen silk, glistening against her auburn hair Her enchanting yet mystical voice, spoken without doubt And a hidden past, engrave unforgotten and unforgiven she despairs… Sleep would be impossible for the remainder of tonight I pray of soon, I’m to see her again in morrow’s dream And as dawn awoke with its mornful light Somehow, the untold name of the befallen I already knew within… Her name is… Ei-rian ……………………
