Poem
Oh dear merciful Father of Heaven, our God, Devotion brings faith, for knowledge we nod. A little clay lamp in remote village gives light, Street light shines in city, street looks so bright. Night tells here light story, From Gandam to London all sing your glory. Flower in deep forest does blossom of its own, City flower smiles getting care, joy seed is sown. Village or city it exists inside your lovely garden, By your mercy soul incarnates, you ever pardon. Mumbles your name dory, From Gandam to London all sing your glory. In crowd still soul moves alone many days, As per action fruit is fixed cosmic law stays. Enjoying fruit of action by virtue or by sin, A person becomes happy or in agony thin. By mercy moves life lorry, From Gandam to London all sing your glory. Alone soul reaps fruit joy and pain or sorrow Getting wisdom a person never wills to borrow, Taking debt if he travels to next life’s birth, Again comes to pay back at time to this Earth. Your laws are vibratory, From Gandam to London all sing your glory. In deep forest in each leaf, is written your name, In each light ray we feel your mercy and fame, It grows more to get light in deep forest a tree, Tranquillity or silence brings peace, we feel free. A sage in forest gets satori, From Gandam to London all sing your glory. Perseverance brings success, feels here soul, Energy is your light, ever he achieves goal. Never we fail to work ever eagerly we sing, We know oh dear father, fortune you bring. You have gifted us territory, From Gandam to London all sing your glory. Large night does not able to fight with light, Little lantern glows bright, night cries in fright. Light is your mercy, light is your wisdom joy, Righteousness is powerful beneficial as soy. Wisdom breaks horror gory, From Gandam to London all sing your glory. Copyright © Pintu Mahakul, 13 November 1997. All rights reserved. My Note: This poem is from pen of 1997 written in early teenage. This is dedicated to the people of the world. Ganadm is name of a village. Meaning of the word Gandam is Garden of God, the place of enlightenment, the primitive forest which naturally looks like garden, the habitat of primitive people. (Gan-Adam) While we break the word Ga-n-dam the meaning comes as in Korean language similar word Gandan means simplicity or briefness. In Roman Urdu similar word Gandmm means Wheat. As per South Indian language of Telugu, Gandam refers to tree and forest. Word Satori means sudden enlightenment.
