Poem
HERE She lay in bed alone at night and wonder why she's here In a world that's so uncool Where people just don't care She do so much for everyone But her heart's still so sore Just a little bit of kindness Is all she's been looking for Why was she born And what's the reason she's here Cause, in the end, it comes down to nothing When we turn to dust and disappear She wish her dad was here But he left when she only seven He made her feel safe But now he is in heaven He went to fight a war To save others while leaving her home But she never saw his smile again Cause he never made it back home Her mother was a fighter She kept the kitchen warm Till she close her eyes one night And all her strength was gone The flowers on her grave Must be dried out today Because It's winter And under the cold earth, her body lay she can feel them sometimes When she goes the cemetery It's where she goes for her family reunion With her mummy and daddy She wanted to be with them too But when god thinks its time She tries to find a little comfort With cigarettes and bottles of wine She got married to a man much older To fill the void of the missing father figure But she divorce him a little while after Because he was an abuser There is so much hurt she feel with so much anger strapped inside. And life seems to be taking her on a cliff She wish she had wings to spread them and fly She have no one to talk to She's so confused and alone She wish there was a direct line to heaven So she can talk to mummy and daddy on the phone Just like any little girl, she had dreams of being a beautiful princess And a prince would come riding in on his white horse And take her to his castle full of love and happiness But she is a princess today A princess of nothing good to come A princess of hopeless despair In the world where she wishes she would disappear from She puts on a smile A fake smile she puts on for you But inside her soul is crying And there's nothing she can do She could never trust in anyone Falling in love was out of her mind She accepted that a life alone Was her faith in god being kind Why did her life turn out like this While others don't have a worry She tells no one how she feels Cause she's not looking for pity or sorry She once got the courage to go to church But the doors was close So she turn and never went back Maybe it would have made a difference But now no one will ever know What's the reason, she's here What's the reason or purpose she's living for She feels like this walk on rug that's thrown on the floor She lay in bed and wonder what I'm really doing here Can I wake up from this dream Can I please just disappear She started to cry And then she started to smile She felt her mummy and daddy next to her in the bed And she lay in the middle just like when she was a child Her mother's empty medicines bottles on the bed next to her She closes her eyes and felt the hug of her parents And she went to them in the hereafter She was beautiful and simple some say When they talk about her Where ever people gathers In the church, streets corners, and bars No more sun No more rain It's like she never was here The girl with so much hidden pain Flowers grew on their graves Colors of red yellow and blue And the sun shines down on the grass And glistens on the morning dew
