Why can’t I get you to see, that you complete me! 
And mean everything in the world to me?

Why is it so hard for you to simply discern,
that you my love will always be my first and my primary concern?

Why do you choose to constantly keep me at Bay? 
When you know that in your heart, is where I wish to stay?

Why is it your missing the gifts you have in me? 
And that God has sent me for you to see and be set Free?

When God created Man, wasn't it also in God's plan, 
to be the strength by your side, lift you up when you alone can't stand?

Why do you turn away my help, every time I try to assist? 
Instead you prefer using the word “I” and not “We” and resist?

Doesn't the Bible Say: 1 Man+1 Woman = 1 Complete Soul?
So why do you prefer holding on to 2 halfs, instead of the whole?

If you would just have faith in God completing us together as One?
You wouldn't shy away, but trust me more, and not be quick to run!

May I ask? Did you not pray for Love and help in dealing with life's quests?
If so? Why then are you doubting him when he's sent me to grant your request?

Haven't you prayed long enough for A Man to really Love you thru and thru? 
Saying to God,"Lord? I've endured years of countless tears, Please send me a Love that's true.
Well his answer to that prayer manifested thru Faith, is Me! Vowing to Forever cherish and Love You.

You see, I too spent years asking that one day my soul mate would come along.
And it was my faith in him that kept me strong. 
So when I saw you for the very 1st time?? Peace fell over me as God said,      
         "With her, you'll never go wrong"

In your struggles to find that peace in one, God has seen your heart suffer and slowly start hardening like stone,
That's why he sent me to restore your faith in Real Love, Uniting two hearts and for others that caused pain, atone.

To show that you were not meant to walk the Earth Alone or to stay apart,
but together stand behind and with each other caring and sharing one heart.

In loneliness we will stay in defeat and never be complete.
But show that only joined together… This worldly life can be sweet!

So remember...When you hurt? I too share that Hurt.
And if your upset? Like the batter and the coach? I too am kicking dirt!

Baby, in my heart I just simply need you to know...
That I am here for you! To protect and soften any blows!

But for now I stay patient awaiting you to one day Believe me and see
That God knew exactly what he was doing when he sent you to me.
