Poem
I don't know what she saw in me that attracted her so fatally I was just an inconspicuous guy, sitting in a lonely hearts club, minding my own business When she invaded my privacy, and latched on to me like a parasitic tapeworm Started sucking the life out of me with her constant stalking Somehow she got my phone number, and began calling me at all hours of the night Sending me suggestive text messages, made me squirm ... feel real uncomfortable So I did what I thought was best, refused all of her sexual requests Problem was, she didn't take no for an answer Caught her on camera creeping by my house, laying low in her car across the street This was a new level of breached proximity, never had someone attracted to me fatally I didn't want to be involved in her sick fantasy But she kept coming at me nonstop, so I had no choice but to call the police Got a restraint order issued, but that didn't matter to her She told me that if she can't have me, nobody else will And if some other woman try to take me, then she's gonna get killed Scared out of my mind, and at wit's end I decided to play along, told her let's just be friends This pacified her for awhile, but then she wanted more, wanted to move in She said we could be lovers, and an intimate relationship was win-win I told her no, it was not gonna ever be that way, and she got real angry and vowed I was gonna pay Said someone was gonna get hurt in the worst way Didn't know what she intended to do, only knew that she didn't give empty threats She was dangerous, and had the look of insanity ... That's when I knew right then this unwanted attraction was gonna end fatally Told her if she ever come looking to harm me, then she will have to deal with my metal bodyguard And she don't talk, she just spits hot lead all over the yard Told her that she's been warned, even alerted her on a cyber post I said remember the movie, "Fatal Attraction," and how it didn't end well for Glenn Close Maybe she thought I was only playing, maybe she thought it was just a bluff But she tried to break into my house one night, I told her don 't do it, and fired a warning shot Pleaded for her to save herself, as I was calling the cops She said she was gonna show me her true love, and was willing to die right where she stand Said there was no truer love, than to be killed by your lover's own hand I had got drawn into her madness, and I tossed the gun away from me But my mind gets fuzzy after that, don't quite remember what happened next Which means it's time to take my candy, given out by the attractive head orderly
