Poem
The hearts of white men are silently fuming The spirits of angry widows steadily grow bitter The bosoms of weeping mothers open wide While the relics of the past kept washing upon our shores. Since I stepped off the Mayflower anticipated liberty has painted a lifetime portraits of blood stained victories shameful victories that has hunted the very core of our existence which some men taunt as historical success But only a success wrapped up in newspaper A success hanging on walls of living rooms laughing out of control at it's own twist and irony. I have witnessed this several decades ago long before I set foot on this shore But was too scared to journey this way Maybe providence had brought me here to experience the turmoil of heaven and hell in a realistic way. Yes I have come a long way in search of the truth a truth you will never find in history books or the living bible A truth buried in the tombs of our forefathers and engraved in the sculls of madmen. But is there more to what I have already seen Is there more to what I have already experience A world living in the shadows of its own guilt A world painted with corrupted brushes with white paint splashing on the faces of the innocent And blinding the eyes of the prominent whose only task was to fill the ocean with fish plant the vineyard with fruits and Replenish the bloodstained land. The dawn of a new day is evidently all around us Scrambling to end this woeful chapter The dagger has been tossed all over Turning family against family Community against community Prostituting our women and girls sedating our boys and young men Forcing them to form viscous gangs. Chaos spilling over in the street while casting blame on the bird who has no clue how it landed on the tree. Servitude was physically eradicated one hundred and fifty years ago Through various degrading and corrupted means But whatever means it took to end it, It had to go. They say the very act of bondage was abolished But the very deed of it still remain in the hearts of white men. I am colorblind but still remain neutral about this truth I have heard various stories about slavery I know how it feels to be treated unfairly But I have never experience slavery until I got off the Mayflower. I saw happy half naked Indians roaming about the vast green mountains fishing, hunting and cultivating the land so I devise a plan to destroy them and confiscate their land And when they couldn't work hard anymore I sailed across the continent of Africa to fulfill my devious en-devours. So we see the same upheaval of long-ago walking in tainted corridors and reminiscing in gorgeous hallways while people are protesting in the street. This time it is not a fight between black and white but a fight with everyone who is not white. "Keep the immigrants!" they say, so that we can benefit from them, "If we let them go who will work on our farms and in our stores?" "Keep the immigrants!" another group say, "if they go who will do the menial jobs that our people wont do?" Wasn't it the same language spoken in the past? Who will work on the plantations if we abolish slavery? But another man's solution to end this racial war is to load them on Mayflower 2017 which is bound for Italy. Woe be on to the leader who sold their people into slavery Who be onto the leader who profit off the misery of the weak Woe be unto the leader who neglect their people in a foreign land The atrocities of yesterday still lingers on conscience of brave men The bloodline of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin Napoleon Bonaparte, Alexander the Great,Saddam Hussein must have escaped to our shores brainwashing our sons and daughters suppressing blatant guilt and invited tyranny upon our doorsteps How wonderful it would be if history was obliterated And all we see and know of is the present . No questions would be asked and no truth would be known. How wonderful it would be if everyone had a place to call home A country where they can live in peace and a nice place to live with a warm and loving family. A new chapter would begin, new mindset would come alive New thinking would heal the wounds And buried the guilt this bloodstained land. How wonderful it would be.
