Poem
In jungle wild lives a creature so rare hardly ever seen wanted by London zoo keeper Only found in a deep ravine, this creature is called a perary elusive, secretive, problematic lifespan Unknown, very hairy, always in hiding though nomadic, this creature had to be captured at birth as it doubled in size weekly, so logistics had to be structured most important was its safety, two years of observation past the wait was over a birth occurred a tiny baby perary was born at last the wonderful prize was secured, measuring just two inches in length he was taken from his mother sedated, small full of energy, great strength, now packed securely and crated, arrived at the zoo two weeks later now he had grown eight inches long, was very special to the zoos creator he thrived with others, grew strong, one month passed the perary grew rapidly now housed with great apes for company, great attraction to show, ate great amount of fruit loved grapes, grew to big now for the ape enclosure so lived with the Elephants quite pleased his size was becoming a worry for sure plans for his demise or to be released, living with the giraffes not a happy lot this being the last resort panic set in no other choice he will have to be shot, shot with automatic rifles just tickled him, desperately tried some most potent poison this just gave him indigestion and the runs throw him off a cliff was their next decision on a lorry to Beachy head, he weighed a ton, the lorry backed up to the edge of the cliff the perary looked down at the rocks below Stood up, frightened, body quite stiff, the keeper shouted start tipping let him go, then the poor creature started to sing, It's a long way to tip perary, It's along way to go, It's along way to tip perary, especially on those rocks below. Sorry this is composed from a very old joke connected to the war song It's a long way to Tipperary.
