Numbers

Numbers, there would be without them?
First, our age would never show.  
That’s could be quite good you know!
Then all the dates would go.
Only the day and month might show.
Of course there  could be a day.
But which one of the week, be they?
The beginning, next or at the last!
Or the position before it!
How on earth will the date be writ?
Then of course four you must know.
To draw money from wall banks just so.  
As if you do not push them right!
They eat your card, they do I’m right.
When in the restaurant where I go!
They give a card with numbers so.
When they cook your meal that day!
To your number comes their tray.
And if there numbers are not right.
Your food might not be also right.
So show you’re receipt there and then.
The Cook can do your meal again.

Then, adding up your bill.
Those numbers can make you feel ill.
And there are dates you need to know.
To know where else, you have to go.
Numbers are used everywhere.
At the fuel station two lots are there.
The amount of fuel you take away.
And the blinking price you have to pay.
Then when on your travels, you do go.
The road is numbered, it is so.
In conclusion, I’ll just say.
Learn all your numbers.
As you’ll need to use them.  
Every single blinking day!
Especially when you’re age.
You have to say.
