I still remember those moments of time..when I gave to you this love of mine
I knew our that our love would last forever--and all I want is to be together
Now I had been living all alone...and in my heart I had no home
But I heard your call from far away ..as the night turned into day

And in those moments of surrender ...I thought that our love could last forever
When you said that you loved me..I had been too blind but now I could see
I finally began to understand--that moment you took my hand
And when we fell asleep at  night--we dreamed until the morning light

In my heart it all reminded me..of all the places I used to be
I had been living in a lie..I could no longer look you in the eye
Now i'm letting go I am moving on--and all those memories are gone
What would happen only time could tell..and in the wind the silence fell

Into the night it still goes on--and in my heart I cannot go wrong
All these memories have passed me by--and all of the times I tried to cry
And since those moments lost in time..those thoughts had come I had left behind
And now the hope it is still there...all that I needed was someone to care
