Poem
This morning I got a letter in the mail It's only something my heart could tell It was from the college of my dreams Went inside the living room mom screams I slowly opened up the envelope Nervous could not find the word to spoke thinking in my head I'm so stoke Thinking in my head I finally got accepted In the college of my dreams My mom sit me down for a good breakfast I'm cannot stop rubbing my good luck neckalace So many thoughts running through my head Thinking about what subject I should go ahead And sign up for I got ready and grabbed the shoes off the floor Running through to the car and opened the door Cruising slow down the bright street This sun is shining through foreign leaves The light of hope is starting to peak Yes we cannot stop now heading towards the peek Man I glad I had a good sleep Pops is finally smiling and the feeling was great Heading to school hoping I'm not late The past was creeping up from behind When she realized that the girl that tried To get her into the gang past by Her great feelings started to slide Look up into the sky and ask why Wondering why is this happening to me Is there something I did wrong that I can't see Does this feeling happen to all or just me I heard my name was called down the school hall Thinking this is my last fall Will I be walking in death's steps Heard my name my breathe left I felt like all eyes were on me There goes that bitch and her hommies They all strapped up with bats With their baseball hats They told me to meet them in the back It was like a scene in a movie I went with them one of them pushed me They called me ho slut all kinds of bitches After the disses I felt hands all over me So many blows my vision got blurry Next thing I'm loaded up on a gurney This is where life started its journey I heard someone say coma and mom Was holding me tight in her arms My pulsse started to go moms screams Started fill my spirit and dreams The riggsmortis sets my thoughts clear My feelings shed one last tear I'm now walking towards the pearly gates Where my life right after firmly waits At the wake my ghost wipes away Moms tears the pastor needed tissue My congregation saying they'll miss you The semester starts with my eulogy Hanging in the first orientation Peace starting setting in patience I'm gone and there's nothing to that My attackers should of knew that Their serving life and one committed suicide Paying the price for committing homicide Written by Chino and Morgen
