To my girlfriend that hates me

In my next life I'll come back as a goldfish
I'll have these big bulging eyes and lips
lips that perpetually move
and seemingly ask why
why, why
gills that seemingly forever expand
mouth forever moving
always asking why
why, why
but wait a second 
that's what I do in this life
why, why
somethings ... never change
but until then
my exit from here, to the next existence
graying sad man to happy little gold 
then sad little gold
one needs to practice
you need to practice 
for when that glorious day comes for you
I'm no longer around
you can rejoice in tantalizing my existence
as a gold fish in a aquarium, then
then, you do see
forever tapping the glass
giving me dirty looks
leading me on to the surface with food
and throwing air
you would like that
watch me race to the surface hungry 
and then throw air, and laugh
I know you, I know you
You would roll on your stomach laughing to see me hurt
laughing, laughing hard

everyday you would be tantalizing me
irritating me, teasing me
even putting  a betta inside the tank
you would like that
wouldn't you
seeing the betta chasing after me
as I run for my life
