The Queen’s honour list

Racing round and round a running track!
Or hitting tennis balls, on a court, forward and back!
Will earn you a knighthood, now I see.
And no doubt a great big winning fee.

Although to be fair, I am told.
Some wins are just a medal of gold!
Solid Gold it might not be.
Winners are better at it, than you and me.

Still, congrats to all honoured this year.
I beat you all, did you not hear?
In Poetry Soup one fine day.
I was horribly mentioned, did I not say?

(Dragon I said honourably mentioned, pay attention today.)

Congrats to all I meant to say.
If you were honoured, in any way!
In the Queen’s annual honoured sway.
Where I got not one mention today!!

(‘That is it Dragon, that is all we going to say today.
No Dragon, I’m not offended in any way.
I most certainly am not, well I might be slightly.
Lol is all I can now say.’
