~ Another Fairyland Story: The Meeting ~ ( Short Story or Narrative poem) It was very early the next morning When the clock woke me up from my wonderful sleep I summoned all my strength to get up from bed All night my sleep had been so restful and deep I took a quick shower and put on my nicest clothes This morning I was to meet the Faerie Queen again I had a cup of tea and some delicious breakfast served Before I rushed to the throne room to meet the Queen I got there exactly five minutes before I was due The Queen appeared before me in a flash of blue light Some of her ladies in waiting were there with her too The whole scene was so magically beautiful and bright The fairies in spite of this serious matter were happy They talked and danced. Some were singing sweet songs. They were some problems in Fairyland that needed our attention Right away.We needed to find solutions before too long The Queen and I talked for a while and revised the whole situation. After almost three hours of talking and exchanging different views. We came up at last with what we thought was a very good idea But still we were very concern about the council opinions too We got up and decided to call upon the rest of the group then The fairy counsel had been waiting for us right in the next room This selective group consisted of fairies, gnomes, pixies, leprachauns When the Queen entered the room everybody went quiet like in a tomb She came in with her ladies in waiting who were so beautiful too These are very special fairies who are chosen for this job at an early young age. They start their training at age thirteen and continue on till they're twenty-five Since fairies have very a long life, a little much longer than most of us gnomes Now everybody in the Blue Room was waiting for the Faerie Queen to speak They were all comfortably sitted around the precious jeweled royal throne The Faerie Queen and I exchanged another undetected signal of approval She raised her beautiful hand and smiled as she got ready now to speak. Dorian Petersen Potter aka ladydp2000 copyright@2005 December.26.2016 ~Authors notes: A Sequel from my "Summons from the Faerie Queen" and " The Fairyland Ball" . Story to be continue in my next Fairyland story or Narrative poem titled: "The Decision" .
