Pen Power By Spidey Williams Question: How Much Power Can A Pen Have Realistically? Your freedom walks when my pen talks! Angels no longer sings when I erase dreams, With the stroke of a pen my friend. Your thoughts cease from thinking when my pen starts blinking! Hesitating before he writes my thoughts on paper and tabloids. While cameras are waiting to catch your expressions with Polaroid. I suggest you play ignorant if not dumb Because I can alter your fate with a stroke of a thumb One x too many or one not enough There’s no need for a Crime fighting dog named Mcgruff With my stroke of a pen even grown thugs aren’t that tough This is real life not poker so go ahead and play my bluff But I can guarantee all of your appeals will never be enough It all good it’s all nice even when I’m wrong my pen right Every word I utter and forget my pen writes Every battle I loose my pen fights When you are sleep my pen is scheming late at night Trying to figure out in the end .How to be that pen You know the one who writes down every word Including the ones we can’t believe we just heard The ones that say you are innocent yet guilty of all of the crimes Because you came in here thinking with just your mind Not realizing you were never among friends Nor did you posses the power of the pen You were not being tried by your peers and ken But you were being tried by our fears and trends See, I don’t know who told you the wrong information But no matter how much you preach this is our form of reformation There will be no new world creation This is our Independence of Declaration And it never will matter to us what is your Proclamation Because little did you know we look forward to you people Annihilation You must have forgot about your days on the plantation Or must have thought we forgot you all damnation But what you fail to realize no matter what we will never forget Just like we always know, you all will never fail to remember Those ice cold days you house slaves were outside working in the cold winter Or how we convince you to believing Jesus Christ was born in end of December See, what you fail to realize everything you believe is what you see with your eyes Got to give us credit though we know who to disguise The truth that is, and make you all believe your own mottos “get it how you live” But don’t mind me continuing doing you in the end Just don’t act like I didn’t tell you about the power of my pen!
