The Smoking Gun 

We entertain thoughts at the work party with high class cocktales
 Running to and from our destination as are ego's soar throughout
 One word spoken out of context can throw a wrench on your reputation
 May need to take a rest on a well needed vacation
 So we carry on with a song in our hearts to light the spark
 The smoking gun will inflate the whole episode & duration
 In long lines we faint from the musical relaxation
 Through off a challenge with a shrug sweeping things under the rug
 We have to keep a close look out from the people around us
 Some bask in the advancement of there degree
 Others sharpen there pencils and let things be
 Shelter lies dormant amidst it's beckoning plough
 A challenge to be free is a question of time
 Let's look to the future and another place to dine
 In delicate roses it will tickle your fancy of everything that's fine
 As a caged rat that is hidden in it's tiny little hole
 It's a dog eat dog world that will help to inflate the ego
 Search your hearts everyone see if there is a place of fun
 The next move that you make may be your last
 No one gets by in this life on any free pass
 Quick conclusions often will lead the best of us astray
 The wisest move in life is but to wait
 Otherwise are galloping emotions run away like horses at the gate
 The smoking gun maybe coming to a theatre near you
