And through winds of desperate belief
we shall bring you God
and tell you why God does not exist
explanations direct from atom bombs
microcircuits, microchiped, in explosions of information come
to tell you, to tell you how the miracle
is so much smaller than the facts

And through the breeze of intuition
seek only to conform
mathematical approximations of universal norm
and while in fractal scope and blessed quantum
tell you, yes tell you, you just do not know
only by science alone
and certain confusions of restricted information

And OH ! Oh so certain that puff of glory
the mechanics of I am in an obituary
and by science alone progress
the merchandise of a new religious blasphemy
it is but a technology
and a cold replacement for wonder
the textbook applications of life

And the Universe is a terrible place
appalling cold and frightening dark and so very distant
and although our existence is quite improbable
we still contemplate the stars
yet so cold, yet so dark, yet so far away from us
in meat and molecule of awareness
without any textbook applications of love

Damaged for this barrage of theoretical
as if some hand plucked at consequential
and a partial particle picture explains it all
in the geometry of perfection
a plastic box to keep it all contained
and everything, yes everything can be explained 
as a billion angels take their seats upon the needle
