Celebration In The Street

Mark my word as if you haven't heard
 The moral of the story is don't be in such a hurry
 Shades of grey pull the heart's door mask away
 With sullen tempers of fire it's a lone desire
 The celebration in the street no chance to repeat
 Lines being drawn in the sand when to understand
 The truth be told act your age not your shoe size
 What a pleasant surprise we put our lives in
 We riot yet it should be in the name of love not hate

The chord had just disconnected with the outlet
 An excuse can only take you so far still to look inside
 I will continue to play on the one string that Iv'e been given
 Stregnth in numbers yet I still stand to be forgiven
 We all wander like a mouse is inside a maze
 Always looking for the latest gadget & fade
 Celebration in the street we stir up those dancing feet
 Remember to stay humble as you bungle in the jungle
 We all must learn to sound the alarm with streemers

Let's look above to the heavenly love
 Now it's caged barbaric torture in search of blood
 We have traveled to far not to turn back now
 There's no use looking back at the plough
 Look instead to the heaven up above
 Merciful one come take this chip off my shoulder
 Stop the senseless fighting as our nation grows a bit colder
 Look above to the heavenly love coming down from the father
 We burn bridges in search of a reason it's just the changing of the season !
