Poem
She thought of all the times, She ran around with friends, Running round the house in pajamas, Wishing the fun would never end, She thought of her brother, Ruffling his curly brown hair, How he spouted of whatever came to him, Fast without a care, She thought of her parents, Kissing her goodnight, She wiped away the tears, As she whispered a soft goodbye, She could feel the pressure agaist her temple, And took one last deep breath, She thought how fast it would be over, Finally at rest, With a BANG she fell so fast, Went tumbing to the floor, Her little brother got there first, And ran through the door, He screamed so loud the window shattered, "SISSY PLEASE WAKE UP" He shook her limp shoulders, But sadly there was no luck, He placed his head on her chest and gave it one last try, "Sissy, sissy please wake up," he soon started to cry. His mother wasn't far behind, She dropped down to first sight, At her little girl laying there, her face so pale and white, His mom picked up the note, took a deep breath and pulled her son near, If your reading this I'm sorry, this is what I feared, I wasn't meant for this life, I wasn't good enough, I'm sorry mom I wasn't strong, I'm sorry I couldn't be tough, For years I lived in silence, Hiding all the pain, Scared that if you knew, You would hang your head in shame, Tommy, I'm so sorry, Your the best brother a girl could have had, I'm sorry I wasn't a good sister, I'm sorry I was bad, I'm sorry it had to end this way, I know you will not cry, It really hurts to say this, But I'm sorry this is Goodbye, His mom eyes filled with anger, And in a harsh tone she said, YOU STUPID UGLY WORTHLESS BRAT, ITS ALL YOUR FAULT SHES DEAD! Tommy ran to his room, Tears fell from his eyes, He slammed the door behind him, And looked up at the sky, He took out his paper, And his pencil and started to write, He wrote and wrote and wrote, His knuckles turned pale write, he opened his window and climbed right out, He looked down , but his lip and wept, With his last bit of energy he closed his eyes and lept, When his mom saw him there, she picked up the note, Saw his scrawly large handwriting, And read what he had wrote, im sorry I was a bad boy mommy, but I know you won't cry, But I couldn't leave sissy alone, So this is Goodbye With that the mom fell to the floor, And whipsered I'm sorry and sat there to wait, But her little girl and boy where never coming back, It didn't matter what she said, It was already too late
