Speaking to my mirror, my words get virtual God created the world with beautiful words Let there be light, let there be life But when it came to man, he stopped, he can’t be created with words So in silence, God worked! Lost in this world, lost in my own words Words pure enough to heal a broken heart Words powerful enough to destroy a city Just like a boy learning to speak My words are just waiting to blossom My thoughts run wild like a pack of deer chased by a pride of lions Like an arrow released from the bow, I speak nonstop in my room Many words have gone unheard by the world Words pure enough to heal a broken heart So today, I SPEAK I speak to the ones out there who have a voice they do not understand Understanding that they are outstanding but can really stand the Pressure of this social world, a world that seems to talk nonstop and Rebukes the dreamers, a world where being silent is a curse, where being outspoken is the vibe, where knowing how to light up a party is the in thing. I speak to that boy out there that gets tongue tied in front of that girl, his well prepared speech all seem to vanish. Cant seem to muster a single HY, he has been told to say high HY he has to be HIGH. I speak to that girl out there with the beauty that lies in the eyes of the beholder, only if there was a beholder, hours on the mirror making up wrinkles, pimples, wishing there was an easier way for this. I speak to that fat kid, being bullied on the streets every single day, coming home to parents that call him names, siblings that dont care, the fat one is back!!. I speak to the Christian getting mocked cause he/she is still a virgin, being called all sorts of names. Praying always, speaking in tongues not understood by men, reading a book with principles that seem to take away all the fun of life. I speak to the introverts, the ones that understands what it means to be lonely, the ones that have their mouths filled with words, only if they could speak, those that speak to their mirrors, wondering when they will speak to the world. So speaking to my Mirror, my words mirrored in front of me. So, in silence God worked! In silence, I speak hoping to speak to the world someday
