Ever Have One of Those Days? (Try reading it to rhythm of “Some Where Over The Rainbow”) Some where over the rainbow, Dragon did fly… It’ll never be the same again, you can imagine why… Into a new land, up through the clouds he flew… Oh Bye, Bye… Saw a falling house, so acted like a hero… So say to common sense goodbye! He saved the evil wicked witch, giving that falling house a little pitch. So topsy… As Dragon came into the scene, Glenda’s bubble burst, cause of his heat. Oh Opsie! The munchkins didn’t fare so well, as Dragons tail threw them close to… Oh Well! They chased poor Dragon out of town, you can believe me! I do tell you. Truly! Dorothy ran down the street, missing the path, that should have been! Completely! Dragon burned the poor Scarecrow up, helping get him, on the ground. Oh, Really! The tin Man melted to a blob, Dragon couldn’t find the oil can. No, he could not! Dragon used heat, to loosen him up, who knew, he’d melt on the spot? To a blot! The Cowardly Lion ran off, when Dragon sneezed, singeing lion’s hair! Complete! He finally became the evil Witch Queens’ guardsman’s mascot… Well why not? They saw, that he did lack for nothing. What did you think? He is such a hunk! The flying monkeys followed Dragon all around; they thought him, so very funky! Thinking him their Mama, they had found… They need glasses! Don’t you think? Then the evil witchy queen… burned the Emerald City down… In only a wink! She was trying to get her monkeys, back down on the ground! Safe and soundly! By throwing fireballs at our cute little clown, but she missed, so very profoundly! The wizard didn’t to do a thing… as Dragon gave him a ride… to help him think. Then dropped him on his head, from up high. Oh Why! Oh why! Does he try? Dorothy became a friend, with that Witchy Queen. Who could have known? Oh No! Glenda caught up & put red slippers on Dragon’s feet, sent him home! One, to go! Smart Thinking… Now… Some where over the rainbow Dragon DID fly. Thankfully it was only, a bad dream! He had, once on a winter’s night… So I cuddled our poor little Dragon, supreme… As the paparazzi gave him a ten… Or should … this… I rethink? Yep, they’re in this dream… Whatever different could you think? It’s a Dragon thing, as this nightmare simply had to stop, and my fantasy’s flight. Thankfully… Somewhere over the rainbow… Dragon’s not there, in the night… So you can have a Good Night & can now… Sleep so very tight! Written 9-5-2016
