I have these reoccurring dreams of hallways
I dreamt in color and I’ve dreamt in dark days
Never had I encountered a dream in its peak of pureness
But, I have encountered a dream when I was in distress

I wish you well in all you do and don’t forget a friend like me
I’m sorry for acting blue and playing victim all the time, you see?
I often hope that you’d see me through the growth pains
I pray daily inside my cranium to ease the physical sprains

Peace, come to me someday in this trivial lifetime
Sadness, disappear and never come back this time
Give me happiness that my dreams can never think of
Give me joyfulness that gives me a picture of love

Think of me in times of your tribulation and release your frustration
Just maybe, I’ll inspire you on your way with genuine sensation
Wipe away the tears from my eyes and tell me you care about me
Because right now, I feel the need to let you go into the sparkly sea

Bring me delight and smiles when the sun goes down
Sing to me when I fall asleep and I won’t wear a frown
Sweet serenity sooths my delicate skin and warms my young heart
Hopefully then, you can start mending me so I won’t be torn apart

I’m your shadow – I will follow you as the wind blows
I’m your sunshine – I will make sure to higher your lows
I’m your weather – I will surprise you with what I got
I’m your wings – I will allow you to vibrantly soar a lot

It’s so amazing – this moment between us now and forever
Never had I encountered this euphoria …I’m feeling much better!
Thank you for healing me with your gentle waves of purity
You scared away the recurring dreams that haunted me
