Do you rememer the night we met
that's a time I will never forget
we took a chance to let it be
but yet I just couldn't see
why you were in love with me
now I re-live the times we had
remembering both the good and bad
but in the end we wanted to believe
that we wanted something more
and needed to explore
so we each choose to blindly let go and ignore
what we didn't yet understand for each other
mostly though I remember:
Walking away
not letting you ever hear what I needed to say
because like you I to was running away
yet today I grow more and more afraid
with each passing day
seeing that I may never get another chace to say
that I'm still in love with you
because we were walking away
Life really does go on and years pass by
people get on with their lives
we are no exception
and I believed I was doing fine
and those sweet momories seemed to find
their own speical hiding place
then one day fate stepped in
and took me for a spin
now I don't know where to begin
and I wonder how I thought
that these feelings I still have for you
could ever have had an end
I realize most of my life without you
has been just pretend
and I can't explain exactly what I'm feeling to anyone
because I don't understand it myself
so is this what being in love really does?
I hope so why else would I be remembering:

these memeories of you are playing a game

as we are walking away...
