Dancing with conceptual darkness
In a white dress stained with a dead love
Behind the partners eyes lies the truth
Which is nothing more than insanity
That grins and laughs at a woman's loss
Oh for it was those very eyes
Eyes she first looked upon and saw weakness
Reflecting back
Knowing not of those dark desires
And she was broken through those nightmares
Each stare
Each dream
More intense
More desperate
Much stronger
Until a young will lost to an old fear
For a power like this comes with a price
And that's all he ever wanted
Her wish was only to defeat him
Through any sacrifice
Even her own humanity
In exchange to the very enemy
She lost it all
Insanity is never a kind sword
With the blood in her hands and her soul in his
The woman forgot her battles
Came to dance with the very thief
And drifted into silhouette
Oh he made her stronger
For the both believe they won
Alas unbeknownst she moves without a pulse
Forever dancing with that conceptual darkness
