I’ve been patiently lying on the side of my bed…
Soaking in past dread – all the words that you’ve said
Those words should’ve been left unsaid…
Somehow, I need to learn to let go 

I need to forgive you for all the things you say
I’m sorry that I’ve let you down though
I said some things I didn’t mean to say today
I’ll make it up to you someday…someday…

Will you come around my lane?
Will you keep calling me names?
Will you still think me insane?
You’re still wondering why I won’t play your mind games

I’ve been feeling blue

Nothing new – 
You say things out of the blue…
You’re so thoughtless 
You didn’t even know I was a mess
You added to my distress
Your words – they express
The truth behind it all…
Try to catch me before I fall
Just let the tears roll down from my face
I’ll just try to find my place in His Home of Grace

I have nothing to lose…
I’m lost in my muse…
You’ve been giving me your shoes
That are worn-out by your daily walk of the boohoo blues
I’ve tried to give you His saving grace
I’ve tried to cherish your elegant face,
But I’ve figured out that, without a doubt,
My love wasn’t enough – I better walk God’s route
You’ve proven to me that you have your weaknesses
I see right through them by telling you your strengths
You got to have faith in brighter days, sweetheart
Keep your head up above the surface or you’ll surely break apart

You’re leaving me breathless
I’m grieving in utter distress
I must confess that you’re everything to me if not more
I must address that you’re, actually, the one that I adore
You’ve seen my downfalls
You’ve neglected my calls
You’ve treaded the shadowy halls
That once held on to God’s grace…
But it failed through it all…
Sorry that you’ve been lost without a trace
Just try your best to stand tall
You needed me…I know deep down inside
You wanted me…I doubt I’ll heal this time
You searched for me, but you don’t know where I hide
Diligently, you try with your undying might
But, it’s not worth it, love of mine
One day, His grace will shine upon you
And when that day comes,
When that Kingdom comes,
You and I will fly together as one
I accept you in my arms, I love you a ton
So, come over here 
Have no single fear
Give me an embrace unlike any other
For, we, honestly, belong together forever

Your goodbyes are cradled in my ears
I’ve been holding on to them for several years,
Wondering when you’d return to me, my angel
You are amazing in every possible angle…
Come back to me, my grace…my saving grace…
Come back to me –  give me a prudent embrace
