Have you ever been taken in
by some ones charms
longing to be held in his arms
then in a blink of an eye
you awake to find
you're still alone
you realize your dreaming again
and you don't want your reality to set in
so you re-play the dream over and over in your mind
cause you never want it to end again as it did in your past
sometimes it's so hard to grasp
how you can remember how happy you once were
and want so much to be that way again
and damn it why can't you be
why can't people see
what's right in front of them and was so much meant to be
didn't you then and don't you now deserve that chance
to have that feeling of being in love at first glance
you know who he is
but you don't know where he is today
yet it seems like ironic things
lead your way
in your quest of finding him
like certain things from back in the day
things you used to do or say
and you're constantly reminded of them everyday
sometimes you believe that all your going through inside
is your punishment of making all the mistakes you've made
over your life time this far
then other times you think God must have a plan for me
because he wouldn't want people to go through life with all this 
pain and agony
everyone makes mistakes it's how you learn to get by life
and everyone deserves to make things right
it just takes a moment or so
sometimes you just can't let go
of memories from your past
they really do seem to last
no matter how you try to put them out of your mind
and put them in that special place
and now look at you, you're on a chase
you can't seem to catch up with your own feelings
no matter how hard you try
it makes you want to sit down and just cry
but you really don't know if it's a plan for your future of not
you have to roll with what you got
and try to make it work for you your way
do your best that's what you've heard them say
wish you had the answers to the questions you seek
yet you don't know about taking that peek
what if all you've been feeling so deep inside for so long is wrong
then once again you will feel like you don't belong
but at the same time feeling all this 
you know you need to go through with it
it's what you've been waiting so long to find
and at times you suppose your life can be kind
and take you in the right direction
to hopefully find whom your heart so desperately  needs and wants
to be with and to be lost in his charms
and last but not least
you hope to have his arms once again
taking you in
