How can sorry be enough
For all of the pain I've inflicted on you
Mainly when none of my pains 
Were caused by you 
You were my life saver
From a bad situation
I knew I wanted you to be my wife
When we first started dating
But I held back my feels
Because I was going through a moment of healing
Healing for myself, from my pass
And to have you involved was the last
Thing I wanted, but my mind was like F**k it
Because loving you is all I wanted
Yet and still my soul was scared
By the woman before you
So it was very hard 
To trust again, and allow you to have my whole heart
After she mistreated it, used and abused it
And just simply tore it apart
I was once told that we all have flaws
So I invited you into my life
And I shared my scares with you
Hoping for a break through
Not knowing that my baggage would break you
So how can I'm sorry be enough for you
When none of my hurts and pains was caused by you
98 was a bad year for me 
My mom died from cancer
My woman cheated on me
Spreading fast and running rapid
As much as she pleased
She even got caught with one of my old buddies
Never mind the fact
Momma was warm in the ground yet
And she was creeping with this dude
Collecting a WELL FARE CHECK
So how can sorry be enough 
To someone who's such a total package
I never met to because you pain 
With my extra Baggage
