Poem

May the spirit of the Living God fall freshly on me
Guide me, lift me, fill me as I dance with Thee 

Now on the day of Pentacost the Holy Spirit had been set free
It rained upon everyone who was there in abundancy 
Speaking in their own tongues yet all were able to comprehend 
It was a sign of the power that God can gift to all men
It was an invitation to dance with the Universal Creator of life
To waltz, boogie or watusi with the Spirit of The Lord Jesus Christ 

The Disciples had gone to Jerusalem waiting but in pain
For their Pastor Jesus of Nazareth had been crucified in vain
It was a turbulent time but a promise was about to be fulfilled 
When all in attendance would become Holy Spirit filled 

Understand that the power of God manifests in the midst of your pain
And recognize then the devil will try to paralyze you with shame 
Know that when the Holy Spirit comes It comes to renew
Know that when the Holy Spirit comes it comes to make you a new you
There is promise in that pain that you're now feeling 
Just trust in the Lord God there will be a healing 
So be in the place of praise in spite of your pain 
So that holy healing spirit of the LIving  God on you can now rain 
Now do more than just get it together you need to gird up your loins 
Ready for a new horizon and a new dawn 
Yes there are some who seem to be okay but are only Sunday converts 
Wolves in sheep's clothing spewing perversity and hurt

To dance with the Spirit you need to want to be made whole
So that the Spirit can now come into your life and cleanse your heart, mind and soul
To dance with the Holy Spirit in the midst of your hurt, pain and shame 
You need to have a relationship with the One whose name is above all other names
