Rich,

The weather turned cold 
And a friendless mood came upon me
My companion was no where to be found
My last resort was to let go of all the passion I had

Sitting at our familiar place
I realized all I need is myself to overcome these hardships 
I remembered the past, we once had

Living life to the fullest 
Letting the days pass us by
Allowing only one person to accept me 

Now, you are gone and 
As for the life we use to live

Throughout the year I struggled
With realizing who I really am
Crushed by relationships
And pushed away by parents

I felt like everything in my life was closing into an end
And there was no stopping it
So I tried to end it all myself

My fate gave me a another chance
So I could turn my life around

When I started to not care about what people thought about me 
The less I fought with people who provoked me 

It turned warm once again
I yearned for a signification that you were safe
I eventually moved on with my life

When I least expected I got the answer I been hoping for 
You finally called

At first I felt as if you were a stranger 
But soon afterwards I knew you were your same old self 

I felt as if it wasn’t like it used to be between us
I didn’t depend on you, like I use to 
But I still hoped that you and I  
Still had that unbinding spark

I revealed to you my secrets,
Dreams and fears.
And you told me a lot more 
Than I expected to hear 

I just want to let you know 
That every time you call me, I feel loved 
And every time we kiss I feel so special 
That nothing can ever hurt me 

But I can’t prevent reality from stopping 
I can’t force anyone to be there,
- Who can’t be
 All I am capable of is to 
- have faith in myself
