Duracell Bunny No More

To her loyal fans,  Nicol Ann David is the Duracell Bunny in Woman Squash...
She dominated the rankings for an incredible 9 years in the World Woman Squash ...
While lesser players only hope to get their hands on that prized trophy only once...
The Duracell Bunny, she hefted it an impossible 9 times uninterrupted In a long run..
Now that she is 33 and counting, given the rich crop of talented players in the rankings...
One wonders if she will again regain her aura of invincibility to again supersede the rankings..
Malaysians in general are suffering the aftershocks of her dismissal from world dominance...
She is a household name,  every Malaysian associate squash with this Nicol dame...

Her immediate conqueror, Nour El Sherbini is but a spring chicken with talent in abundance..
Way back when she was only 13, Nour already signalled her precocious squash talent...
At that tender age , she had managed to carve for herself a sensational piece of history...
When she defeated other talented and older players in the Under 19 event of World Junior Open..
And to quell any lingering doubts that it was a fluke, Nour repeated the win in the next 2 Opens...
So the youngest champion in World Junior Open today has fulfilled her long expected destiny...
To become the youngest ever world champion at only 20, an epitome of her racket supremacy..

Nicol David, to her credit and everlasting fame, she aims to be back and be on top of her game...
