I spend so much time 
Wondering about what could've been
Thinking about the what ifs 
And the possibilities 
Had things been different
But they weren't and here I am
Still can't believe I'm here
After everything I went thru
All those who came and went
Throughout my life
It's something I got use to
But what I didn't expect
Was the hold some people had
Something I'd never known
It wasn't something I was familiar with
So when the time come
I didn't know how to handle it
Some I didn't mind
But then there were others
They turned out to be a whole lot harder
I had to face trials and tribulations
I wasn't sure I was strong enough for
But then I came to find
That each and every time
I learned a little something new
Before I never really thought it thru
But everyone that’s been a part of my life
Has molded me into who I am today
And I have come to believe in that young lady
So many people have doubted me
But I learned to stop
I learned to embrace the real me
Cuz at the end of the day
I have loved with all my heart
I have been a true friend
To many whom have not done the same
I have met some I wish I hadn't
Fallen for those I wish I'd never met
And had my heart broken
More times than I care to count
I have believed in those
Who have betrayed me
But along the way
I became stronger
I became smarter
I  learned so many things
Like to give love another try
To trust until given a reason not to
But most importantly
I learned to trust in me
Not to change who I am for anyone
That if someone doesn’t love me for me
Then hey no need to keep them around
Deep down I found courage
Along the way
All these things I came to see
So for anyone out there
Feeling pretty low
Know that someone has been where u are
Knows what you're going thru
But I am here to say
Don't give up
Even when u may be at your worst
There's a reason to fight
More than there is not to
No matter what life may throw your way
U are much stronger than u think u are
And u can get back up
U can make it thru what you're facing
Though u may not know it
U really aren't alone
Don't be afraid to ask for help
It doesn’t make u weak
In fact it takes more courage 
To admit u need help
To say u can't get thru this alone
Take a minute and close your eyes
Take a deep breath
And tell yourself you're gonna be ok
Reach out to a friend
Tell them how u really feel
Write a journal
Start a project
Remember the people and things u love
But no matter what u do
Or even how u do it
Don’t give up on life
And Don't Give Up On Yourself!!!!
