Poem

My human diary just walked away..
Do I see it running away now?
What a painful sight this is..
And where do I record it now?
For it's my own diary running away...!!!

I remember the first page,
I never etched my name on it..
Just a coffee and some small talk to engage..
And as I turned the page..
It started penning down my life..
I never knew then, it would so soon leave my cage...

My trust, faith, was into my human diary..
May be it was foolish to expect so much from a mere diary..
May be I made it's life weary..
But one thing I know now, it has got me teary..

Never were the pages filled one after the other,
The void always had an importance..
The pen knew all by now, my laugh and cry and almost every shudder,
But still the diary chose to flee..
May be for our own convenience...

But as my very first diary is now distanced,
I dare not to write in any other one..
It still keeps my life enclosed,
But no more does it fill any pages to come..

I never reached the last page..
I wish I could do so..
May be that is entitled to only those braves..
Who write their name on the first page...!!!
