<When we revert to bullets and bombs.

When we revert to bullets and bombs
Surely we know things have gone wrong.
I know that is easy to say.
Others find it easier to pray.

Sadly it seems no one is there.
High up in space in heaven somewhere.
I hope He’s not come down here.
If so, I pray He’s safe, you hear.

I hope He does not disclose himself.
Not here, as no one will believe.
And that will be His self-downfall.
As some faith, might well use Him, as a tool.

For peace he would, of course come down here.
But find Himself a captive, I fear.
And as a man of peace, He cannot harm anyone.
I guess He then will be killed, by a bomb or gun.

Some say a gun does not kill.
So is owning one, such a thrill?
I had one when in the army.
If I had it now, folk would think me barmy.

If God was here, what would he do?
Yes, all of you, I’m asking you?
I guess like God, I’d be off on my way.
As no one it seems here, can help the world today.

But I made a deal with Satan.
Just to make sure you see.
If God himself can’t help us.
I guess it’s up to you and me.

I seem to be in full flow poetically, well I think I am. So am posting this on all my Facebook Pages even Smarty's .<
