“Break the Silence”

Without you to talk to my days are so lonely
Your humor is like that of a ray of sunshine
Your words are like the shining stars that guide our path
Without you I am so lost I can barely breathe 

Imagining your smile brightening up the space around me
Searching for you laughter to calm these nerves
Begging for the time to come that you reach out to say hello
Imagining the distance no longer separating our outstretched arms

My heart is aching for your voice to render three words I long to hear
Impossible to believe that my heaven has finally come out of my dreams
I smile into your hazel eyes believing in our road yet traveled 
I wait in silence patiently awaiting the voice of my princess to say hello

I miss you like the lakes miss the summer rains
Never thinking someone like you could ever believe in me
Although these miles separate us today and for days to come
I will always be waiting for your beauty to break the silence I have without you
