In the beginning there was two
Just me and you and you saw me just like I you...

And you came to me and I said "one day there will be two"...
Indeed it was a dream come true and 
Together we was acting like fools...

Fools in love and nothing mattered but just me and you...
One night of flaming passion as a result of intoxication... 
But in the morning I was still there yearning for more affection...

U gazed into my eyes just as I fell deeper in yours... 
And you said "finally we are two in spirit"

Time ticks and enjoying the sound of the tock... 
Everyday tribulations tried but we was unshaken 
As we was firm and rooted like baobab roots locked on a rock...

Your word was meaningful crisp and clear to ear... 
Your words I LOVE YOU was the pillars that kept the exoskeleton in shape...
And every day it was a clear picture 
That you and I was no longer individuals 
But it was we that made us two...

Out of the blue with a sudden new view 
That will change all my clues... 
"Baby we was two and now there is three"...

Pause... Heart stop for a second was a cause... 
With silence so loud with excitement 
Just like child who believes in Santa Clause... 

"Baby what...?" was the question, 
Closing the space between us with attention... 
"Please repeat what u just said...?"

There was two and now we are bound to be three...
I did not believe and I thought I was being deceived 
But in actual fact she was bearing my seed...

I didn't believe but finally what I had dreamt of 
Me and you, not as individuals but we and now we are three!
