Poem

Never understood,
Never cared for,
Misunderstood. 
Unloved feels like a homeless person,
with no home of love.
In your mind, it’s like sleeping on park benches,
not knowing what the outcome is going to be.
Pushed from pillar to post,
tossed by harsh words,
cut so deep, the soul cries.
My heart bleeds, my mind wrecked
with confused answers of love.

But love still knocks at my door.
Hey, have you got time for me?
Answer was, no, no I am busy.
Patience made me wait, still waiting, 
but no answer.
The unloved person speaks to nature,
greets the flowers of Gods creation.  
Eyes watching through the window pane,
How the leaves dance by the music of the wind.

The ducks are going together on a stroll, 
to collect the food for their young offspring.
If God created love, what happened to people
that misunderstood this beautiful emotion.
I guess I lay homeless, in my mind,
to find find out what’s beyond material love.

Seeking in my thoughts, for this refuge I ask
God, give me the solace for my disturbed mind and broken soul.
If I cannot have the love of this world,
mind you, my majesty, give me your love.
So I can remain sane, in this world for temporary stay.
My lord, you are a merciful creator with endless possibilities for your creation,
your perfume lingers, your kind words capture the soul. 
I know you have a plan for me, tell me so,
Come visit me in my dreams, so that we can talk
and resolve this mystery.
