Hands Caught In The Till

The cash register, there is a pleasant  little "TING !" as it slides open....
More often than not, it will reveal cash notes, neatly stashed and weighted down..
Various denominations of cash notes, some crisp and new, others soiled and old..
What is obvious to any who observes, this is a cash register to track cash sales....

The proprietor, if he doubles up as a cashier, he is most passionate about this matter.
Lives have been lost, grisly tales abound when cashiers safeguard the cash register..
Flashing lights, strident siren blares often punctuates the air as police cars rush in...
A response to each robbery distress call received, ambulance service has to fell in...,

Such a scene typifies many a TV screen  drama and enthralls its many viewers..
But in the modern world of sophisticated and high tech espionage and thievery...
Such robberies are melodramatic only in the adrenalin rush at the crime scene..
Scripted by creative writers, excitement and drama are on offer scene after scene..

Here in Bolehland, a more insidous kind of grand scaled robbery goes undercover..
There is no gun play, no brutish thugs nor battled scarred criminals in the picture..
A fledgling democratic country of some 26 million is being held to ransom...
As financial numbers reveal astronmical debts running into tens of billions....

Only time will tell how dire the present and future predicaments for this nation...
For the present, concerned citizens are all left befuddled and dazed, bereft of action..
As political play cloud unimaginable horror tales of ill gotten money by the billions..
Even creative writers in the film industry, they cant imagine this grand larceny...

There never was any hard core criminals nor any  blazing guns or weaponry..
There has only been high flying executives, opulent lifestyles of the super rich..
But  convulated money trails and digital money movements exist nevertheless...
And yes, there is a very dead elegant model and a couple of other murders...

All these fascinating twists and turns in this ongoing saga of missing billions...
Pulp fiction writers, even they will be unable to  cook up such a convulated story..
The end to this ongoing saga is still uncertain, who knows what will next happen...
It is obvious,  action must be taken for someone's hands were caught dipping into the till of this nation.......
